(Sibley)—The Osceola County Sheriff’s Office has released details into an incident last week in which a car collided with a tree in Sibley.
Deputies say 56-year-old Robert Grave of Sibley was driving a 1996 Chevrolet Suburban southbound on 5th Avenue north of 10th Street in Sibley when he lost control. Authorities say the vehicle jumped the curb and struck a tree head-on.
Grave was taken by ambulance to the Osceola Community Hospital with unknown injuries.
$8,500 in damage was estimated to the vehicle.
Authorities say the crash is still under investigation.
It took place shortly after 4:30 p.m. Wednesday.
