(Superior)—Two people were killed Wednesday evening in a collision involving a passenger vehicle and a semi in Dickinson county.
The Sheriff’s Office says it took place shortly before 7:00 p.m. in the 1800 block of 310th Avenue, or County Road N-14 southwest of Superior.
Both people who were killed were in the passenger vehicle. No injuries were reported to the driver of the semi tractor/trailer.
No names are being released until family members of the victims have been notified.
The Dickinson County Sheriff’s Office says the crash is still under investigation. It was assisted on the scene by the Iowa State Patrol, Superior Fire and Rescue, the Lakes Area Extrication Unit, Lakes Regional Healthcare ambulance and paramedics and Jennings Tow and Repair.
