May 06, 2024 Steve Schwaller

(Spencer)– A Graettinger man was seriously injured Sunday when a motorcycle he was driving was struck by a vehicle at the intersection of East 30th Street and Highway Boulevard on the north edge of Spencer.

Police say 31-year-old Christopher White of Graettinger was driving a 2022 Indian motorcycle northbound and 55-year-old Tamara Devlaeminck of Spencer was driving a 2015 Chevrolet. Police say Devlaeminck was eastbound on 30th Street and had stopped for a stop sign when she pulled into the intersection and the two collided.

White was taken by ambulance to Spencer Hospital.

Devlaeminck was cited for failure to yield.

The collision took place around 2:20 pm.
