(Spencer)– Two people were sent to the hospital after a vehicle they were in collided with a light pole Sunday evening in the Wal-Mart parking lot in Spencer.
Police say 18-year-old Skylar Ellis of Primghar was driving a 1997 Chevrolet westbound when he apparently became blinded by the sun. The vehicle collided with a light pole.
Two passengers, 14-year-old Victory Portz and 13-year-old Lindsey Ellis were both taken by ambulance to Spencer Hospital to be checked over for possible injuries. No injuries were reported to Ellis.
The vehicle was totaled.
The collision took place shortly after 8:00 p.m.
