Car Pedestrian Collision Injures Woman

November 22, 2014

(Sibley)– The Osceola County Sheriff’s Office has released details into a car-pedestrian collision earlier this month that injured a southern Minnesota woman.

Authorities say 73-year-old Judith Roghair of Sibley was backing a 2002 Buick from a parking spot on 4th Avenue north of 6th Street in Sibley when she failed to see a pedestrian crossing the street. The pedestrian, 65-year-old Evelyn Knepper of Welcome, Minnesota, was knocked to the ground. She was taken by private vehicle to the Osceola Community Hospital in Sibley.
