(Okoboji)– A close call Thursday at the Okoboji Post Office.
Authorities say an elderly woman was pulling up to park in front of the building when she apparently mistook the acclerator for the brake. The vehicle lunged forward into the area where the front window is located.
Fortunately no injuries were reported to anyone inside the building.
Dollar estimates of damage to the building and the car weren’t immediately available.
The incident took place shortly after 12:30 p.m.
