(Sibley)– Possible injuries were reported Monday when a car collided with a pedestrian in Sibley.
The Osceola County Sheriff’s Office says 17-year-old Austin Schaa of Ashton was driving a 2004 Pontiac Grand Am northbound on Sixth Avenue south of Fifth Street when a pedestrian, 15-year-old Bryan Clark of Sibley, jumped in front of Schaa’s vehicle.
Schaa attempted to swerve around Clark but struck Clark with the passenger-side mirror.
Clark sustained possible injuries and was taken by private vehicle to the Osceola Community Hospital to be checked out.
No other injuries were reported.
About 300-dollars in damage was estimated to Schaa’s vehicle.
The collision took place shortly before 4:00 p.m. Monday.
