(Fenton)– No injuries were reported Thursday when a vehicle left the road and collided with a machine shed in Palo Alto county.
The Sheriff’s Office says Susan Hanson of Fenton was driving a 2006 Chevrolet Equinox on a county road near Fenton when she lost control on the snow and ice-covered road. The vehicle slid across the road and collided with a machine shed and a hay bailer inside the building.
Hanson wasn’t hurt.
The vehicle she was driving was totaled. $10,000 in damage was estimated to the machine shed; damage to the bailer was estimated at $20,000.
The Fenton Fire Department was called to the scene as a precaution due to some gasoline that was leaking from the car.
