(Milford)– A lakes area service club is once again doing its part to help out less fortunate children this holiday season. The Campus Women’s Club is once again putting on its Secret Santa program.
Club spokeswoman Susan Reiser says beginning this Friday (Nov. 23rd), area residents, organizations, clubs, church groups and so on can choose from over 140 tags containing information about less fortunate children from the Secret Santa Tree at Melander’s in Milford. The person selecting the tag will then shop for the items listed.
Reiser says gifts should be wrapped and marked with the letter and number from the original tag and returned to Melander’s by 5:00 p.m. Wednesday, December 12th.
Names of all participating children are kept confidential.
Members of the Campus Women’s Club and Santa Claus will distribute the gifts Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday, December 17th-19th.
Reiser says over 155 less fortunate children were benefitted by the program last year.
