(Milford)– A local service organization could use your help to make this Christmas a little brighter for some less-fortunate children in the Okoboji Community School District.
Susan Reiser of the Campus Women’s Club says they’re once again putting on their “Secret Santa” project. She’s encouraging businesses, individuals and organizations to select a tag from a tree at Melanders in Milford. Reiser says the tags tell whether it’s for a girl or a boy, and lists the child’s age and what he or she wants. Those who pick up a tag are asked to shop and have the gifts wrapped and returned to Melanders by 5:00 p.m. Wednesday, December 8th.
Reiser says members of the Campus Women’s Club, with help from Santa Clause, will deliver the gifts Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday, December 13th, 14th and 15th.
This marks the 30th year the Campus Women’s Club has put on the Secret Santa project.
