(Sheldon)– Thieves have made off with approximately $5,000 worth of copper and brass pipes and fittings in a burglary at a business about a half mile south of Sheldon.
The Sioux County Sheriff’s Office says deputies were called to the Sheldon Cooperative propane service warehouse around 9:30 a.m. Wednesday. Entry was gained by prying open a walk-in door. Once inside, an overhead garage door was opened and the perpetrator parked a vehicle inside.
It’s believed the incident took place during the overnight hours between Monday and Tuesday of this week.
