Burglary Investigation Results In Arrest Of Juvenile

(Graettinger)– An investigation into a weekend burglary at a Graettinger golf course has resulted in the arrest of a juvenile.

The Palo Alto County Sheriff’s Office says deputies were alerted of a burglary in progress Sunday evening at the Hillcrest Golf and Country Club in Graettinger. Upon arriving the suspects had fled. A large amount of change was reported missing and a door was damaged.

Upon further investigation and with the assistance of its K-9 Unit, the Palo Alto County Sheriff’s Office was able to track down a suspect. The male juvenile was charged with burglary in the third degree…a class “D” felony; and fourth degree criminal mischief…a serious misdemeanor. He was transported to the Juvenile Detention Center in Eldora.

The name of the juvenile wasn’t released.
