Bridge section of West 18th Street in Spencer to close on Thursday

The City of Spencer will be closing the bridge portion of West 18th Street on Thursday at about noon.  The section is located just to the west of The Country Club in Spencer.
The closure is part of the West Beltway Project, and crews will be pouring the bridge approaches on Thursday afternoon.
The intersection at West 18th and 32nd Avenue will then be open, so access to the Spencer Transfer Station will only be available from the west during the construction.
