(Dickens)– A bridge on Highway 18 east of Spencer that had been closed for construction has re-opened, just in time for the 4th of July holiday weekend.
The Iowa Department of Transportation announced late this (Fri.) afternoon the bridge over the Little Sioux River near Clay County Road M-50 was re-opened earlier in the afternoon.
Even though the road has been reopened in that area, D.O.T officials say motorists will still have to exercise some caution in that area as some work will still be taking place near the bridge.
