Boaters Urged To Keep Their Distance During Fireworks Displays

(Orleans)– If you’re among the hundreds who plan to watch Fourth of July fireworks from your boat, officials say you’ll need to exercise patience and caution.

Jeff Morrison, a Conservation Officer with the Iowa Department of Natural Resources, says you need to keep a safe distance from the barge that will be launching the displays…(click here for comment from Morrison.).

Patience will also be the name of the game as boat ramps, especially immediately following displays, will be extremely busy.
