(Undated)– Some more wintry weather is on the way for the region. The National Weather Service has issued a winter storm watch for Jackson, and Martin counties in southwest Minnesota and most of northwest Iowa from late Tuesday night through Wednesday.
Forecasters say 4 to 8 inches of snow can be expected along with wind gusting to 50 mph causing blizzard and possible whiteout conditions. They say that will lead to blizzard and possible whiteout conditions, making travel very hazardous. Those with travel plans late Tuesday night through Wednesday should pay close to attention to forecasts and be prepared to alter those plans.
