(Alpha, Mn.)– An elevator explosion in Alpha last week resulted in one person being transported to a hospital with possible minor injuries.
The explosion occurred Wednesday afternoon when dust ignited while a maintenance crew was working. There were reports of multiple explosions being heard.
The Jackson County Sheriff’s Office, Jackson Fire Department, Jackson Ambulance Service, Alpha Fire Department and Alpha First Responders all assisted at the scene. Crews were on the scene for almost 2 hours.
