(Des Moines)– A group of 11 bike riders will embark on a 200 mile trek Friday (6/29) that will take them from Des Moines to the Iowa Great Lakes.
Rocky Vest is a team leader that will be involved in the ride being put on through Venture Expeditions. He says the primary goal is to raise funds and awareness regarding human trafficking and child soldiering in Southeast Asia…(click here for comment from Vest.).

Vest says the riders will follow a route of back roads. Motorists are urged to be on the lookout for them.
This marks the second year for the event.
