(Spencer)– A royal teenager was injured Saturday when a bicycle he was riding collided with a pickup.
Spencer police say it happened near some horse barns near Fourth Avenue West and West 14th Street in Spencer.
Police say 14-year-old Chad Williamson of Royal was riding a bicycle out of one of the horse barns when he went into the path of a 1981 GMC pickup driven by 78-year-old Eldon Rouse of Spencer.
Williamson was taken by ambulance to Spencer Hospital with an injury to his right ankle.
The collision took place shortly after 6:30 p.m.
