(Spirit Lake)– The Bedell Family YMCA and Camp Foster have been awarded funding through the Good Neighbor Fund of Dickinson County. Andrew Fisher, YMCA CEO, says Camp Foster is receiving a little more than $9,000 to update current and new program areas…
“New activity pieces to go with the partnership with our Airnasium site, harnesses for the climbing apparatus, a lot of other just key programming materials to help improve the experience at Camp Foster out here in nature.”
Fisher says the Bedell Family YMCA was awarded a little more than $11,000 for equipment and supplies…
“Whether it be health and wellness, youth sports, also our school-age programs, along the lines of updating some of our safety equipment as well, which is a valuable asset to us across the organization. Very grateful to the Good Neighbor Fund just as we are to all of our donors and supporters to make things possible.”
This year the Good Neighbor Fund of Dickinson County was able to pay out over $108,000 to 22 local nonprofit groups. You can find more information at lakesgnf.org.
