(Undated)– Teresa Beck, Julie Currell-Smith and Keith Brockmeyer were elected to three four-year seats on the Spirit Lake school board in Tuesday’s election. The vote totals had Beck with 453, Currell-Smith with 360 and Brockmeyer with 340. Larry Wajda, Jr. and Peggy Gulick failed in their attempts at getting elected to the board. Gulick received 323 votes and Wajda had 136. Randy Magg was unopposed to fill a vacancy, receiving 474 votes. Longtime incumbents Beth Will and Ann Goerss did not seek re-election.
In Okoboji, Joe Conover, Brad Droegmiller and Markham Hale were unopposed for three open seats.
In the Harris-Lake Park district, Doug Stahley was unopposed for the district 1 seat; Tim Hoerichs was unopposed for District 3 and Shelley Heikens for District 5.
Janice Lund and David Gottsche were unopposed for their seats on the board of trustees of Iowa Lakes Community College.
