(Ruthven)– A fight Friday night at a Ruthven bar resulted in charges against four men.
The Palo Alto County Sheriff’s Office says authorities were called shortly before midnight to a report of a fight at Bully’s Bar.
An investigation resulted in the arrests of 25-year-old Adam Peterson and 24-year-old Thomas Wise…both of Ruthven; and 23-year-old Dallas Traver of Graettinger. All three were charged with disorderly conduct and were booked into the Palo Alto county jail pending an initial appearance before a judge.
Upon further investigation authorities arrested 37-year-old Billy Long of Ruthven on a charge of disorderly conduct, stemming from the same incident. Long was issued a citation and was released on a promise to appear in court at a later date.
The Palo Alto County Sheriff’s Office was assisted on the scene by the Iowa State Patrol and Ruthven First Responders.
