(Ruthven)– A fight back on November 17th at a Ruthven bar resulted in firearms charges against an Ayrshire man.
The Palo Alto County Sheriff’s Office says a subsequent investigation resulted in 40-year-old Brian Kathman being charged with violation of a manner of conveyance, having an uncased gun in the vehicle, and carrying weapons–having a loaded handgun in the vehicle without a concealed weapons permit.
The Sheriff’s Office also seized three firearms from Kathman’s vehicle.
Kathman was issued citations into court and will make an appearance at a later date.
Authorities say no charges were filed in connection with the original fight call.
