(Graettinger)– A disturbance Saturday at a bar in Graettinger resulted in two arrests.
The Palo Alto County Sheriff’s Office says deputies were called to “The Lodge” bar shortly after 11:00 p.m. after getting a report of an altercation.
Upon investigating, authorities arrested 29-year-old Matthew Davis of Graettinger on a charge of disorderly conduct. Authorities say the deputy was then assaulted by an Estherville woman as he was placing Davis in handcuffs. 27-year-old Amanda Henderson was arrested and was taken to Palo Alto County Hospital for treatment of injuries stemming from the original altercation deputies were called to. She was treated and released. Henderson was then booked into jail on a charge of assault on a peace officer.
The deputy didn’t sustain any injuries.
