(Emmetsburg)—Emmetsburg police are requesting the public’s assistance as they continue to investigate a break-in that took place last month at the Emmetsburg VFW. Authorities say several bottles of assorted hard liquor and liquers, five cases of 12 ounce Miller Lite beer bottles and a box of Blue Bunny chocolate ice cream cups were taken sometime on or before March 22nd. The stolen merchandise has an estimated value of $2,500.
A $500 reward is being offered for any information that leads to an arrest and conviction of whoever’s responsible. Anyone with any information in the case is being asked to contact the Emmetsburg Police Department at (712) 852-2424.
