Authorities Release Name Of Man Killed In A Collision In SW Minnesota

(Windom, Mn.)—Authorities have released the name of a man killed in a head-on crash Tuesday evening in southwest Minnesota.

The State Patrol says the victim, 39-year-old Jason Steffes of Balaton, Minnesota, was driving a 2008 Ford Taurus westbound that collided with an eastbound 2011 Ford super duty truck driven by 24-year-old Cody Falk of St. James.

Falk and a passenger, 20-year-old Nathan Gisch of Mountain Lake, were taken by ambulance to the Windom hospital with non life-threatening injuries.

Both vehicles were totaled.

The crash took place shortly after 6:00 p.m.
