(Spencer)– The Clay County Sheriff’s Office is investigating a burglary at the Peterson city hall that took place earlier this week.
Deputies were called to the scene around 4:30 p.m. Tuesday upon receiving the report.
Upon investigating, deputies learned the incident took place sometime between this past Tuesday, January 15th, and January 10th.
Entry was gained by kicking out a glass panel in a side door and unlocking the door. $40 in cash was reported missing.
