Authorities Asking For Public’s Help In Locating Stolen Tools & Equipment

(Spirit Lake)– The Dickinson County Sheriff’s Office is investigating the theft of some tools and equipment belonging to a contractor doing work on the Highway 9 project between Highway 86 and the Osceola county line. Authorities say the theft took place between Saturday, August 30th and Monday, September 1st near the intersection of 100th Avenue and Highway 9.

A Topcon Monitor, can cables, two Stihl chop saws, a leaf blower, Milwaukee Packouts, seven orange saw blades, eight blue saw blades, three red metal gas cans, soft-cut parts, and a blue bolt bin with pull out drawers were taken.

A $5,000 reward is being offered for information that leads to an arrest in the case. Anyone with information is asked to contact Dickinson County Crime Stoppers at 336-2345. You can remain anonymous.
