(Arnolds Park)– An iconic athletic field in Arnolds Park will see even more activity in the upcoming spring and summer months. John Adams, Sr., who also serves on the Arnolds Park city council, has been a proponent of a number of projects to renovate the field and its amenities. The teams will be playing their home games at Wildcat Stadium from about mid-May through early July. That will be in addition to the little league games and a multitude of tournaments that will also be played on the field during the upcoming season.
Meanwhile, another round of improvements at Wildcat Stadium will get underway immediately following this upcoming Labor Day, which will include a renovation to a retaining wall incorporating some historic photos of Arnolds Park. Another project, construction of a story walk around the outside of the field, is scheduled for this spring.
