Arnolds Park Crash Injures Kingsley Man

November 22, 2014

(Arnolds Park)– A single-vehicle crash late Saturday night in Arnolds Park sent a Kingsley man to the hospital.

Arnolds Park police say Scott Toliver of Kingsley lost control of a 2005 Ford pickup when he failed to negotiate a turn at the intersection of Rohr Street and Oak Street.

The vehicle left the road to the right and collided with two trees and a utility pole.

Toliver was trapped in the vehicle and had to be removed by rescue crews.

He was taken by ambulance to Lakes Regional Healthcare with non-life threatening injuries.

The pickup was totaled.

Police say the crash took place shortly before midnight. They add it’s still under investigation and that charges are pending.

Arnolds Park police were assisted on the scene by the Arnolds Park/Okoboji Fire and Rescue, Milford Rescue and the Lakes Regional Healthcare ambulance and paramedics.
