Arnolds Park City Council Holds First Meeting Of 2025 With A New Member

January 09, 2025 Steve Schwaller

(Arnolds Park)– The Arnolds Park City Council Wednesday evening held its first meeting of 2025, and with a new member at the table. Dr. Randy Pas was appointed to a vacancy created with the recent passing of longtime councilman Jim Jensen. Pas says he’s honored and humbled to fill the seat…

“It was great. You know, in memory of Jim. I’ve known Jim for years and very blessed and allowed to help the city.”

Pas says he’s already well familiar with city operations…

“I’ve lived here for over 25 years in Arnolds Park and enjoyed living kind of in the middle of things with my wife Amy. Amy has Amy’s Sign Design, and I’ve been on the planning and Zoning Committee so I got to see a little bit the stuff that was going on in the city and then with my wife she’s done the dog park and she’s on the Library Board now and Imagination Library. Get to see some of the things the city can help out with. So those are some of the reasons why I’m again, very happy to be on the city council.”

Pas joins the council at an important time with the construction of a new city hall on the horizon…

Pas added he’s excited about what the future holds for the city of Arnolds Park and looks forward to hearing from constituents.
