(Arnolds Park)– The Arnolds Park City Council Wednesday held public hearings and awarded bids on a couple of street projects. One of those involves paving on Circle Drive, Miriam Lane, Lot A Drive, Sunrise Road and Monument Drive. The council awarded the low bid of $230,583 to Blacktop Services. That project is scheduled for after Labor Day with completion by December 1st, 2025. The other project involves parking and sidewalk improvements on West Broadway Street. It was awarded to Marlin Concrete at the low bid of $235,773. It includes a $30,000 incentive for completion by May 19th, 2025. Both projects came in under engineer’s estimates.
In other business, the council scheduled a special meeting for January 28th to hold a public hearing on a proposal to issue no more than $15 million in general obligation bonds for the city hall project. More information on that project can be found by clicking here.
They also approved the purchase of security cameras for the city’s maintenance building.
