(Arnolds Park)– The Arnolds Park City Council Wednesday evening voted to rezone two properties on Okoboji Grove Road and one on Lincoln Drive. It will allow the Arnolds Park Amusement Park to construct a dormitory that will house international students who work at the park each summer.
The council took the action following a public hearing. One person who spoke requested the city update its comprehensive land use plan, which she says hasn’t been revised since 2006. She says the city’s landscape has changed a lot since then…
The votes to approve both the first reading and to waive the second and third reading and adopt the measure were four to nothing with one councilman absent.
