(Undated)– The city of Spencer will be removing snow in the Downtown Commercial District tonight. All vehicles need to be out of that area by midnight. All sidewalk snow from the Downtown Commercial District shall be placed not less than 18″ or more than 36″ into the street, measured from the face of the curb.
In Milford, a snow emergency will go into affect at 2:30 am Friday (Feb. 24th). City officials say all downtown sidewalks will need to be cleared off.
A number of other cities in the area are conducting snow removal operations as well and are requesting people not park on streets so as not to hinder operations.
