Applications Now Being Accepted For Disaster Recovery Temporary Housing Program

(Undated)– Governor Reynolds announced that FEMA approved the Disaster Recovery Temporary Housing program. Applications are now open for impacted residents.

The program aims to provide temporary housing for those affected by recent extreme weather events.

There are over five thousand homes in the state that have reported damages.

Impacted areas eligible to apply locally include Buena Vista, Clay, Emmet, O’Brien, Plymouth and Sioux counties. Applications are open now at DisasterRecovery.iowa.gov.
