(Okoboji)– A November 13th meeting of Okoboji’s Board of Adjustment to consider an expansion of a conditional use permit for Butch Parks for an expansion at Okoboji Boats has been called off.
City officials say Parks has withdrawn the permit for now, and that it will likely come back at a later time.
The city’s Planning and Zoning Commission voted unanimously last month to reject Parks’ request.
Expansion of the permit could allow for one or more of the following types of operations to be added to the business: marina, bars, restaurants, mini-golf course, gift shop, swimming pool and tennis courts.
