(Spirit Lake)– Charges have been filed against a Spirit Lake woman stemming from an investigation and a subsequent search of her residence Monday.
Spirit Lake police say a joint investigation that also involved the Iowa Department of Human Services is what resulted in the search taht took place around 1:21 p.m. Monday at 1513 Ithaca Avenue, apartment 1. Authorities say they turned up what’s believed to be marijuana.
21-year-old Sierra Szaflarski of Spirit Lake was arrested and charged with possession of a controlled substance…2nd offense; and child endangerment. Both are aggravated misdemeanors.
Szaflarski was booked into the Dickinson county jail.
