(Jackson, Mn.)– Investigators say a fire last Friday that heavily damaged an apartment in Jackson has been deemed as being suspicious in nature.
The Jackson County Sheriff’s Office and the Jackson Fire Department were called to the scene at 211 5th Street in Jackson around 9:20 p.m. Friday. Firefighters located the blaze in the stairwell and quickly extinguished it.
No injuries were reported.
Authorities aren’t saying what it is that leads them to believe the fire was suspicious.
