(Emmetsburg)—Palo Alto county authorities remind everyone to make sure your residence is secure whenever you’re going to be gone for any period of time.
Proof in point is a burglary that occurred today (Friday) in which a residence in Graettinger was entered and $30 dollars in change was taken. Authorities say there was no forced entry to the home and their investigation continues.
In addition to locking your doors, authorities also recommend leaving a light, radio and or television on when you’re gone.
