Another Reminder Of An Informational Event On Possible Changes To Hwy 71 Through Milford

March 05, 2025 Steve Schwaller

(Milford)– Another reminder of an informational event going on Thursday (March 6th) evening on whether or not Highway 71 through Milford should be converted from four lanes to three. Jennifer McCoy of the Bolten and Menk engineering firm, which is assisting the city on the matter, says they’ll be holding an open house from 5:30 until 7:00 pm at the Milford Community Center…

“There will be information kind of describing the why behind this project, what’s being considered, and then the benefits and disadvantages of a change from four to three lanes similar to what they did in Arnolds Park. And then a chance to talk with city staff and consultant staff and get your questions or concerns addressed.”

McCoy says input from Thursday open house, along with the findings of an online survey, will be presented to the Milford City Council at their meeting March 24th. The online survey can be accessed by clicking here.
