(Spencer)– Hospice of Spencer Hospital will hold its annual Candlelight Memorial Service Monday (November 28th) at 6:30 pm at the Foundation Church located at 1410 W. 18th Street in Spencer. The service will also be livestreamed on the Foundation Church’s website and will be rebroadcast on Spencer Municipal Utilities community channel on Thursday, December 1st at 5:00 pm; Friday, December 2nd at 8:30 pm; Saturday, December 3rd at 1:00 pm and Sunday, December 4th at 12 Noon.
Chelsea Reed, social worker for the Avera Home of Spencer Hospital’s hospice program, says the Christmas season can be a difficult time for grieving people. She adds the service is a time to remember and celebrate the lives of the loved ones we’ve lost.
