(Ruthven)—A brawl Wednesday evening at a Ruthven bar landed a man in jail on several charges.
The Palo Alto County Sheriff’s Office says deputies were called shortly after 7:30 p.m. to Bully’s Bar after getting a report of a fight in progress. Upon arriving deputies learned the altercation involved 32-year-old William Bailey of Ruthven and an unidentified male. Upon further investigation, authorities arrested Bailey. In the process of doing that, they say Bailey became uncooperative and tried to resist arrest. Bailey was eventually taken into custody and was transported to the Palo Alto county jail where he was booked on charges of disorderly conduct, public intoxication and interference with official acts.
