(Spencer)– Another major announcement from the Clay County Fair.
Fair officials are announcing today (Thurs.) Alan Jackson will perform in front of the grandstand at 6:30 p.m. the closing evening of the fair, Sunday, September 18th.
Jackson has amassed 34 number one hits on the country charts and has sold more than 50 million albums. He’s one of only a handful of artists who’ve been around for two decades who still regularly top the country chart. And unlike others who can make the claim, Jackson writes most of his own material.
2011 Clay County Fair grandstand tickets go on sale Wednesday, June 22nd at 5:00 p.m. for online and mail orders.
The 2011 Clay County Fair runs September 10th through the 18th.
