(Undated)– Iowa Ag Secretary and Spirit Lake native Bill Northey will be traveling through the region later this month.
Northey will be making stops Wednesday, July 29th at Farm Bureau offices in Humboldt, Pocahontas and Buena Vista counties. Northey will also appear at the Dickinson county fair at 5:00 p.m. that day.
A press release says Northey will be holding town hall meetings at each stop to talk about agriculture and hear issues facing farmers in the region.
Northey is serving his first term as Iowa Secretary of Agriculture.
