(Milford)– Public health officials are still urging anyone who has not received a vaccination against H1N1 to get one.
They say it’s important as there’s still a possibility of a third outbreak of the virus. And they say the more people that are vaccinated, the better chances are of putting the H1N1 pandemic behind us.
Locally, Dickinson County Public Health has scheduled two more H1N1 vaccination clinics in upcoming days. One will be held this Wednesday (Feb. 17th) from 2:30 until 4:30 p.m.; the other will be Wednesday, February 24th from 9:30 a.m. until 11:30 a.m. Both clinics will be held at Lakes Regional Healthcare’s Community Health Center on Highway 71 in north Milford.
Appointments for the clinics must be made in advance by calling 336-2682.
The vaccine is free of charge.
