(Milford)– Dickinson County Public Health has scheduled another flu shot clinic. This one’s set for December 29th from 3:00 until 6:00 p.m. at Lakes Regional Healthcare’s Community Health Center on Highway 71 on the north side of Milford.
Cost per vaccination is $25. Appointments are required by calling Dickinson County Public Health at 336-2682.
Health officials say that while the flu is already making the rounds, that there’s still time to get a shot.
Officials with the Iowa Department of Public Health say three different strains of flu are making the rounds, making it possible to get the flu three different times. That, is of course, unless you’ve been vaccinated. Officials say this year’s vaccine protects against all three strains.
