(Spirit Lake)– In person absentee voting for the November 4th City and School Elections gets underway this Wednesday, October 15th and continues through November 3rd. Jordan Moyer oversees elections at the Dickinson County Auditor’s Office…
“Hours are 8:00 to 4:30 Monday through Friday. We are not closed during lunch hours, we’re available 8:00 to 4:30.”
She reminds everyone to be sure to your driver’s license with you. In person absentee voting will take place in the elections room at the Dickinson County Courthouse, adjacent to the Auditor’s Office.
Moyer has this reminder for those planning to vote by mail…
“Just want to let everybody know that we will mail out the ballots on Wednesday as well and the last day that we are able to mail out a ballot is on October 20th.”
Moyer says there’s an important announcement for those in Arnolds Park and Okoboji planning to vote on election day itself, November 4th …
“Due to construction of the Arnolds Park City Hall, our Arnolds Park and Okoboji voters will be voting at the Expo Building for the next three elections and that’s located just north of Hy-Vee in Spirit Lake at 1600 15th Street.”
