A Vacancy Is Pending On The Spencer City Council

(Spencer)– A member of the Spencer City Council says he plans to step down from his seat prior to his term expiring at the end of this year. Bill Orrison represents Spencer’s 2nd ward…

“My term for ward two expires on December 31st. I have sold my residence and sometime between now and that time I will resign my seat for the ward number two. What I’m asking tonight is if there’s individuals who live in ward number two who have any interest to please come forward and you can see, you can go to the website for the city, my phone number is on there, I’d be more than happy to talk to you about time commitments and those sort of things. I guess after being on and off for 20 years I have some idea what the time commitment might be, so.”

Orrison hasn’t officially announced yet when his resignation would be effective.
