A Mystery Is Unraveling Over A Local Woman Who’s Missing *UPDATE* She Has Been Located Safe In Kentucky

August 19, 2022 Steve Schwaller

(Milford)– Authorities are trying to unravel circumstances involving a Milford woman who’s been missing for nearly two weeks after she entered an airport in Orlando, Florida to head to Louisville, Kentucky. Police in Kentucky say the woman, Mariam “Star” Lint, never got off the plane, even though Lint’s brother tells news partner KTIV she was last seen at the airport with a valid ticket to Louisville…

“They verified her ticket was in fact, validated, and that her seat was filled on the plane. They did not and were not able to confirm that it was actually her that walked through the door and sat in the seat, but they were able to confirm that her seat had someone in it.”

Michael Lint says they’re frustrated over what he says is a lack of cooperation between airport police in Orlando and Louisville. The Orlando department contends it’s up to law enforcement in Kentucky to investigate, which has no written reports into the matter. Airport police in Louisville, meanwhile, say she never left the plane. A nationwide missing person report has been filed by that agency.

Mariam Lint is described as being 25-years-old, caucasian, about 5′ 1” tall and between 140 and 150 pounds. Anyone with information is asked to contact officer Michael Sims with the Louisville Airport Police at 502-380-8257.

As an update to this story, we have now learned police in Orlando Florida have now opened an active investigation into this matter.

***UPDATE*** A family member confirmed late this (Friday) afternoon Mariam “Star” Lint has been located in Kentucky following a welfare check by police.
