A Local Convenience Store Is Changing Hands

December 04, 2025

(Undated)– A local convenience store is changing hands. An industry publication is reporting Brew is acquiring 13 convenience stores along with one licensed vape and tobacco retailer from DANLEE Corporation. It includes former Jiffy and Phillips 66 locations, including one in Spirit Lake.

Brew already has one other location in Spirit Lake along with Milford and Spencer.

Industry officials say that with the acquisition, BREW will become one of the largest privately owned convenience store chains in the Midwest, with further expansion plans in the works.

Brew is headquartered in Storm Lake. The company has 35 c-stores in northwest and north central Iowa.
